RULES AND REGULATIONS: General info SINGLE-GAME A “single-game match” is played in a single game and opposes two teams of five players. A game is played on one map in two half-times of 15 in-game rounds. For each half-time, teams play alternatively terrorist and counter-terrorist, and score one point by winning one in-game round. The winner of a game is the first team which scores 16 in-game rounds. The winner of a match is the team that has won one game.
During single or double elimination bracket if both teams are tied at the end of the two half-times, overtimes are played until a winner is declared. Such overtimes are composed of 2 half-times of 3 in-game rounds and use particular game settings .
BEST-OF-THREE GAMES A “best-of-three games” is played in two or three games and opposes two teams of five players. A game is played on one map in two half-times of 15 in-game rounds. For each half-time, teams play alternatively terrorist and counter-terrorist, and score one point by winning one in-game round. The winner of a game is the team that has won the most points at the end of the two half-times. The winner of a match is the team that has won two games.
If both teams are tied at the end of the two half-times of a game, overtimes are played until a winner is declared. Such overtimes are composed of 2 half-times of 3 in-game rounds and use particular game settings (see Game Settings article 3.05).
TIE-BREAKER MATCH A tie-breaker match is played as a “single-game match”.
GAME SETTINGS
PLAYER GRAPHICS SETTINGS The following settings must be used on the player’s PC:
- Brightness maximum of 50% - Digital Vibrance maximum of 50% - Contrast maximum of 50% - Sharpening 0 - Gamma maximum of 70%
The use of external software which allows to modify graphics card settings under a match is forbidden. The use of another graphic setting will result in a sanction.
PLAYER SETTINGS The following CVAR settings must be used by players:

All other CVAR settings in the configuration files may be changed if they do not give to the player an unfair advantage comparable to a cheat. The use of an unfair CVAR setting comparable to a cheat will result in a sanction.
RESTRICTION Players may not bring, install or use any external software or hardware that inter-acts in-game, any form of modification that would alter the game or allow a player to execute automatically more than one in-game action, or any configuration file, unless expressly authorized by a tournament official.

MATCH PROCEDURE
4.01 BEFORE THE MATCH
STRUCTURE AND PLANNING
Matches are played according to the tournament structure and the schedule provided by the tournament officials. Participants are encouraged to keep themselves informed about the schedule in order to avoid any delay or default loss.

. MAP CHOICE FOR A SINGLE-GAME MATCH For a match in “single-game match” the map choice must respect the following procedure:
- Team A removes one of the 5 maps - Team B removes one of the 4 remaining maps - Team B removes one of the 3 remaining maps - Team A removes one of the 2 remaining maps
The match is played on the map which wasn’t removed by the teams. The team A and team B are determined by a coin toss. The side is chosen automatically by the game server or by a coin toss. For overtime the team which ended as terrorist during the regular match has to start as terrorist again.
MAP CHOICE FOR A BEST-OF-THREE GAMES MATCH For a match in “best-of-three games” the map choice must respect the following procedure:
- Team A removes one of the 5 maps - Team B removes one of the 4 remaining maps - Team B chooses one of the 3 remaining maps - Team A chooses one of the 2 remaining maps
The match is played on the two maps chosen by the teams and starts on the team B choice. The last map will be used as third map if both teams win one map during the match. The team A and team B are determined by a coin toss. The team which played his map can choose his side. If a third map has to be played, the side is chosen automatically by the game server or by a coin toss. For overtime the team which ended as terrorist during the regular match has to start as terrorist again.
4.02 DURING THE MATCH
MATCH START An official match may only be started and played when a referee has given the signal to start it. Any match started without approval of a referee will be considered as a non-official match. When a match involves the players to be ready, players have ten (10) minute after the signal to be ready and start the match. ( this includes warmup, connection of peripherals and installation of configs.
COMMUNICATION During an official match, players may not communicate with people not involved in the match even when there are pauses in the game. People involved in the match are the players of each team, the coach, and the tournament officials.
MATCH STOPPED Players are not expected to leave an official game in progress unless it is authorized by the match format or it has been expressly authorized by the tournament officials.
MATCH INTERRUPTED If a match is involuntary interrupted (player crash, server crash, network cuts …) the tournament officials may decide to replay the match according to the following rules:
- If the problem took place before the end of the first round for a player still alive in-game, the whole half-time will be replayed.
- If the problem took place before the end of the third round, the half-time will be continued with the number of remaining rounds, and the scores of the interrupted half-time will be added to the new half-time. The start money will be set to 800$ for each team.
-If the problem took place after the end of the third round, the half-time will be continued with the number of remaining rounds, and the scores of the interrupted half-time will be added to the new half-time. The start money will be set to 5000$ for each team.
- If one of the players crashed or is disconnected, he must come back as quickly as possible. A team may “pause” the game at the end of current round to allow the player to come back. A team can’t “pause” the game during the current round unless it has been expressly authorized by the tournament officials.
4.03 AFTER THE MATCH
SCORE VALIDATION For a match both team captains have to report the match score to the tournament officials and sign the report match paper. After signing the report match paper a team can’t comeback on the score and ask for a complaint.
CHAPTER 5 - RULES AND VIOLATIONS
5.01 WARNING
FORBIDDEN BEHAVIOR A team may be cautioned and receive a warning if one of his player commits any of the following offences:
- Refuses to follow tournament officials instructions. - Arrives late at his convocation schedule. - Shows dissent by word or action. - Uses insulting language and/or gestures. - Is guilty of unsporting behavior.
FORBIDDEN ACTIONS The following actions are strictly prohibited during a game and will result in a 3 rounds loss which will be deducted at the end of the match, and a warning:
- Using pause is forbidden without the authorization of a tournament’s official (it can be used during the freeze time or the end of the round). - Any form of script is forbidden. - Using bugs which change the game principle (i.e. spawn bugs) is illegal. - Moving through walls, floors and roofs is strictly forbidden. This also includes skywalking. - "silent bombs" (i.e. the planting of a bomb which doesn't make a sound ) are illegal. - Planting bombs so that they cannot be defused is illegal. This does not include plants where multiple. Players are needed to defuse. - Defusing bomb through walls or roofs is strictly illegal. - Boosting with the help of team mates is allowed in general, but it is forbidden in places were the textures, walls, ceilings, floors become transparent or penetrable. For more information read the map specific bugs section. - “Fireboost” (i.e firing below a player to push him) is strictly illegal. - “Flashbugs” are forbidden. - Throwing flash grenades under walls is not allowed, throwing grenades over walls or roofs is allowed. - “Mapswimming“ or „Floating“ is illegal. - “Pixelwalking“ is illegal (Sitting or standing on invisible map edges) - Binding “+duck“ to the mouse wheel is forbidden.
AUTHORIZED ACTIONS The following actions are authorized during a game:
- There is no restriction on amount of grenade bought. - Bunny hopping is allowed without script. - Silent run is allowed without script. - Using “+duck” behind a box is authorized.
5.02 SANCTION
A team may receive a sanction if one of his player commits any of the following offences:
- receives more than one warning - is guilty of violent conduct - uses any unlawful or unfair proceedings - mislead or dupe any tournament official - is not present at his match schedule - violates a rule of this regulation
A team which received a sanction loses automatically its current map, or the next if the offence isn’t made during a match.
5.03 SENT OFF
After study of a sanction by the competition manager and the tournament director, a sanctioned team may be subject to additional sanctions such as multiple default loss, disqualification of the team, and banishment of next competition.
A disqualified team will automatically lose all his next matches by default and loses all rights and prizes that would have been awarded. In a group stage, the previous matches’ results within the group are cancelled and are also lost by default. All points won or lost are backwardly re-distributed. Match format Round 1 : the first round will be the pool round. which pool a team will be in will be decided by " tirage au sort". Round 2: This will be the knock out stage. It hasnt been decided yet if there will be semi finals or not. this will only be decided after the pool stage ( depending on what time permits) Every match will be a single game match ( unless decided otherwise during the tournament) A team must be ready within 10 minutes from call. (this will include warm-up, connection of peripherals and activation of configs.) Schedule : There will be no exact time schedule. a team must have at least one representative around at all time to make sure that the team is made aware of when call is made. If a team is not in place within 10 minutes, opposing team will win by default. Match schedule will be posted on saturday the 6th. Every player should be present on the premises as from 9 30. Ghosting is NOT allowed. Anyone who will be caught ghosting will be sanctioned.
